Do you dream of faraway places?

You are not alone.

BlueBook Magazine is a community publication connecting the African Diaspora. This project was first conceptualized in autumn of 2019 during founder Latrell Broughton’s travels on the African continent. He found that while there is a mutual desire for Black people around the world to connect and share, there is much work to be done to bridge our differences in cultures, religions, languages, and histories.

Our goal is to build an international platform where conversation and collaboration can take place. By highlighting the many diverse perspectives of the African diaspora through themes of art, activism, and travel, we will showcase the brilliant creative works from around the globe, highlight the activism being done to make our homes more livable, and celebrate the connections that open up when we give ourselves the freedom to explore.

Bluebook magazine welcomes content submissions from creatives (particularly emerging talent), community builders, and travelers. Submission guidelines can be found below.
